Gabriel Laghlali

"Gabriel has been a Research Associate in the Schotsaert Lab since February 2022. He is studying the mechanism of diverse adjuvants in the design of influenza and SARS-Cov2 vaccines, as well as the subsequently induced protection against infection. Gabriel received his Master's degree in Biology at the ENS de Lyon, France in 2019. Before that, He was an intern in the laboratory of Dr. Michelle Tate at the Hudson Institute of Medical Research (2019) and in the laboratory of Dr. Adolfo Garcia-Sastre at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (2019). His main research interests are vaccination, respiratory viruses, and cell death induction during infection. In his free time, Gabriel spends too much time at movie theatres. He also enjoys sci-fi, fantasy, and playing video games."
